A few weeks ago, we took a family trip north to the Ohio Islands, a small set of islands just off the northern coast of Sandusky, in Lake Erie. Chris has a beautiful song called "Ohio Island Sweetheart," so it was especially fun to go as a family.

Our hotel room overlooked the bay. It was stunning at dusk. We went for a night time stroll to the end of a pier, just in time to see a firework show from another curve of the bay. Magic.
We all stayed in the same room for the first time in over a year. It was quite fun actually, and Malcolm feel asleep even with the TV on. We couldn't resist taking several peaks at him through the evening. He loves his bunny.
We spent an entire afternoon on the beach, resting and playing and swimming. It was really beautiful there with perfect beach sand and magical waters. We also found a perfect little ice cream stand with delicious local peach sundae's, mmm......
No trip is complete without a do-rag for the baby;)
