Growing...

Just in the past couple weeks, Malcolm has started learning how to hold his spoon and fork, and often times, gets the food in his mouth.

And at the grocery store this week, he grabbed the toddler cart and knew just what to do.

I finally got over to the used baby store to get his coat and boots for the winter
(thanks Aunt Hilary for his snow pants:) When I finally got him all bundled up and out in the snow, he was pretty nonplussed. 

He is getting much better about knowing what he's allowed to play with or not , which means he spends more time around the house freely. Every time I start working at the sink or kitchen counter, he grabs the kitchen stool and climbs up next to me.

As I write this post, he climbed over the back of the chair to play some notes on the piano. When he finished, he got down, looked at me, and started clapping. He's gotten so good at clapping at the end of songs, that he claps at the end of every little diddy someone plays around the house.
