Father and son. Malcolm loves any excuse to sit up on this peninsula.

For Mother's Day this year, Chris took me to brunch at the new

Mills Park Hotel in town. It was very lovely and we had a lot of fun.

This was the first moment that Ada kind of sat up by herself. It was more of a frog pose, but she maintained it for quite a while. At the end of May, she started sitting up properly and is quite steady already.

I'm not sure which one of them has more fun with this swing. For some reason, when Ada is in the swing, she will laugh if Malcolm laughs. It's wonderful to hear.

Once a week, Malcolm gets to watch a movie while I pay bills. I emphasize the importance of getting cozy for this. Now he says "Get me cozy, Mommy."

Ada eating her first food. So far, she has had rice cereal, banana, grape, and watermelon.

She seems to enjoy it.
