The first month of the year has come and gone, and we are faring winter well here. We've been doing a lot of art with our newly organized art basket. This has included finding the green stamp which Ada thought was chapstick;) The kids are getting inventive with ways to occupy themselves during all of this inside time, including building a drum kit out of the pots and pans. We made it up to the petting zoo just in time to see the baby goats, those harbingers of mid-winter. And our big highlight of the month was Malcolm's performance in his first Talent Show. He practiced and practiced for a whole week, and sang "You Are My Sunshine" in front of a huge crowd at school. He did a spectacular job!
